Our Approach

Kitchens aren’t just the starting point for gatherings—they’re the destination. And that’s why we put so much thought into designs that are as functional as they are beautiful and as practical as they are sustainable.

The materials and finishes we use are formaldehyde-free and are low in volatile organic compounds or VOCs. We are committed to carrying high performance products that are environmentally friendly, an approach we enthusiastically call “responsible luxe.”

Our showroom is a resource for inspiring ideas and meraki spirit. Let us help you fall in love with your home all over again.

Extremely professional and personalized service. Excellent pricing and saw my project from beginning to end. Family run business that gives you specialized service you will appreciate. I would and will use them again in the future. They did 2 bathrooms and a kitchen in my new build. Thanks!

Our Story

The roots of  Meraki Kitchen and Bath  began in a showroom in Long Island, New York, more than 50 years ago. That’s when Frank Tommasini opened his business and later became an industry pioneer in the green cabinetry movement.

Today, niece Annie Sunshine is at the helm representing the next generation of sustainable kitchen and bath design in homes throughout Long Island and New York City.

Annie earned her masters degree in Art and Design and is a long-standing member of the National Kitchen + Bath Association. She specializes in fresh, expressive designs that complement the character of older homes and enhance the lifestyle of its homeowners.

Annie is an active member of the Long Island community, devoting her time to numerous charitable organizations. When she’s not in the studio designing kitchens or on site overseeing another successful renovation, Annie can often be found toiling in the soil as a volunteer at a local organic farm.
